Our state-of-the-art full-motion flight simulators help test theoretical science and maths concepts with a one-of-a-kind experience that would never be found in a classroom.

According to The Boeing Company, over 1 million pilots and aviation technicians are needed world-wide over the next 20 years. Our strategy is to establish Newton Flight Academies worldwide in cooperation with key players in the aviation industry, including Boeing as our main sponsor. The clear educational focus, of the Newton Flight Academy, related to the variety of job opportunities in the industry, will encourage the workforce of tomorrow to explore the exciting field of aerospace.

The concept
As part of the Newton Room family, the Newton Flight Academy is built to teach. Trained instructors will teach visitors the essentials about flying as well as the fundamental science involved in aerodynamics, navigation, and meteorology. The lessons are structured and easy to follow using the intuitive layout of the Newton Flight Academy.

The Newton concept inspires young students and increase their interest in and pursuit of STEM education and careers. All educational modules and learning processes are based on a practical and hands-on approach to learning, directly linked to the underlying theoretical aspects in the school curriculum.


Learning outcomes 
In the Newton Flight Academy, not only can visitors experience a one-of-a-kind flying experience, but teachers have the opportunity to select various topics to teach their students which fulfill certain criteria of their national educational curricula.

These topics are addressed through Newton modules, which are day-long programmes developed with by teachers together with academic institutions using a strict quality assurance process. Newton modules are constantly being developed and updated, so check out the extensive catalogue at often for news!

How to establish
Are you considering establishing a Newton Flight Academy in your area? We will be happy to partner with you and assist in all aspects related to the establishment and implementation process. We emphasize high quality interior, equipment, and design. This includes the simulators, and all other interior and equipment required, described in our Newton brand manual related to Newton Flight Academy.

The concept is owned by FIRST Scandinavia, and we will provide all the necessary tools, training, and concept descriptions needed.


About us
The non-profit foundation FIRST Scandinavia was established in year 2000. Our aim is to inspire children and youth through engaging projects in STEM. The Newton concept is a realization of this ambition, and to date there are over 40 Newton Rooms operating in Europe.

Through the non-profit foundation FIRST Scandinavia, and the service and solution providing company FIRST Scandinavia Partner, we focus on delivering A -Z services in the distribution and establishment of Newton rooms worldwide.
