Introducing the Newton Concept in Italy

03 nov 2021

Today a Pop-up Newton Room opened at the Polytechnic University of Bari.

A Pop-up Newton Room is a temporary and fully-equipped STEM classroom which can be established in pre-existing facilities, including those at schools or on university campuses.

A collaboration between The Boeing Company and FIRST Scandinavia, the Newton Room in Bari is the first in Italy. Working together with the Polytechnic University of Bari and ScuolAttiva Onlus, students and teachers from local schools have been invited to visit the Newton Room to participate in the 'Up in the Air with Numbers' module.

The Pop-up Newton Room will be installed at the Polytechnic University of Bari for three weeks, from November 4th until the 19th,  and represents the first introduction of the Newton Concept in Italy. The classroom will welcome nearly 200 school students in the coming weeks from schools across the Puglia region.
