On February 9th and 10th, you have a unique opportunity to see what's going on in Newton's international network.
In February, FIRST Scandinavia invites you to the Newton Summit. A digital version of the international conference, held in Bodø, Norway every winter.

An opportunity
– We are choosing to see the pandemic, and the new way of running our international conference on, as an opportunity! Not only our valued Newton partners, but also to invite new people from around the world to learn about our concept
– In this way, we may be able to help each other ensure that the next generation is equipped with the STEM-education they need. We welcome everything from teachers, schools, representatives from the authorities and the business community to participate, says Managing Director FIRST Scandinavia, Stian Elstad.

NEWTON SUMMIT. Managing Director FIRST Scandinavia, Stian Elstad invites anyone who is curious about Newton to the digital conference.
– It is more important than ever to connect the worlds of education and industry. Businesses are under pressure to give back to their communities and in turn, they want to ensure that their future staff are knowledgeable and engaged, says Director of European Operations Alysia Tofflemire.

Separated into two
The conference is divided into two parts and runs over two days. The first day consists of a joint session with general information and updates about Newton.
This session is relevant for anyone who is curious about Newton, or those who want to be more involved and up to date. We are also proud to have Hans van der Loo, Ambassador of the EU STEM Coalition, as the keynote speaker, says Stian.
In addition, several speakers will talk about education in the modern world. The joint session is broadcasted live on Facebook, and thus anyone can follow the conference from wherever they are sitting.
