Focus on aviation
For the next three weeks, a dedicated space at the Lodz University of Technology High School is fully equipped with materials focused on experiential learning as well as flight simulators.
There are two programs a day, with 24 students per session. During the half-day program, the students will create a flight plan and fly in simulators. The educational program is called «Up in the air with numbers».
The purpose is to provide students aged from 13 to 16 the opportunity to explore, use high-quality equipment, collaborate, discuss and have fun with science, technology, engineering and mathematics (STEM).
– We could not have asked for a better partnership than we are having with Lodz Technical University High School and Boeing. The program for the next three weeks is already fully booked, meaning that more than 600 young students will get a great learning experience, Stian Elstad said.

Vice-President Boeing Digital Solutions & Analytics Poland, Rafal Stepnowski was also present at the event.
– We are very glad that, within only a few days, all available slots were reserved by local schools who want to seize this opportunity. As Boeing’s presence in Poland is growing, our participation to the Newton project aims at inspiring the young Polish generation to join the aviation industry.
