Who can establish a Newton Room?
Newton Rooms can be established anywhere, either by a single entity or in collaboration with local authorities and/or businesses. In some places, neighbouring communities have joined together to set up a Newton Room.
A physical Newton Room is often established through a partnership between the regional authorities and local businesses. This local group also operates the Newton Room.
The Newton Concept is managed locally by the regional authority, which is responsible for teaching pupils in primary school. The Newton Room should be integrated into regular school and curriculum operation.
The Newton Concept is operated by, among others,
Science Skills Academy, who leads Newton Room establishment in the Highland and Islands region of Scotland.
