Newton Modules

The educational programs used in Newton Rooms are called Newton modules, which are developed by Newton Teachers or other professional contributors.
The modules are tested with pupils prior to approval by a national academic institution. This means that all educational programs in a Newton Room undergo quality assurance, both with reference to professional and educational relevance. After approval, the module is shared with the Newton network and other Newton Rooms can utilize the module.
The Newton module structure is composed of:
  • Pre-work in the classroom
  • Practical activities in the Newton Room
  • Post-work in the classroom
Newton has developed a library of modules, containing modules for preschool, primary, secondary, and high school. The modules are deeply rooted in the national curriculum, therefore a visit to the Newton Room can and should be included as a part of the school’s day-to-day operation.
