Newton room

Newton is active STEM education led by enthusiastic and professionally-skilled Newton teachers.

The education takes place in Newton rooms; specialized STEM rooms that are established and owned locally, and form a shared resource for the schools in a municipality.

The teaching plans of Newton rooms are called Newton modules, and will ensure the student's opportunity for exploration, in-depth and inquiry-based learning, and the use of new and exciting equipment not commonly used at school.

Newton rooms are part of a network with joint administration and shared access to resources. The principle of sharing is vital, and the Newton modules continuously developed by the network are distributed to other Newton rooms immediately after external quality assurance.
