Newton lands in Germany

30 Jan 2020

The Mobile Newton Room has arrived in Germany and is accepting class reservations. Sign up to experience the Newton Concept!

These portable classrooms will be open in Neu-Isenburg from March 2nd-20th, at Boeing Digital Solutions & Analytics Lab in Frankfurt.

Focus on STEM
The Mobile Newton Rooms  are made of two expandable containers that have the ability to create a high quality and inspiring STEM educational environment.

School classes can visit and experience a demo version of the Newton Module “Up in the Air With Numbers”. During the program, students aged 13-14 will get the chance to assist on a fictitious air search & rescue mission, create their own flight plan, and fly in simulators. The activity is linked to relevant theory, so mathematical concepts are focused on throughout all of the tasks. Local teachers will be trained to lead the sessions.

Visit Boeing Global Services
Students will also get a unique opportunity to tour the facilities of Boeing Global Services in Neu-Isenburg, hosted by employees of the Digital Solution & Analytics laboratory. The tour will include an introduction to their organization and recent projects the company is working on.

Partner organizations in this event are Deutsche Kinder und Jugendstiftung, The Hessian Ministry of Education and Religious Affairs, and Boeing Global Services.
